A rare wine crafted in his home winemaking facilities by François Millet—who spent over 30 years as the chief winemaker at Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé—alongside his two sons. "La Croix des Champs" is a village-level climat situated on the eastern side of Route Nationale 74, directly opposite En Joutises. Vinified in tank and aged in oak barrels for 22 months. Notes of blackberry and raspberry are complemented by subtle hints of spice and iron. It possesses a moderate acidity; while delicate at its core, the wine is energetic and richly infused with mineral nuances. The finish lingers with a pleasant, gentle bitterness.
