ALOXE-CORTON 100% Pinot Noir. Sourced from two distinct parcels: "Les Morais," situated on the eastern slopes of the Corton hill, and "La Combe," bordering the Grand Cru Corton-Charlemagne on the southern side. The vines average 70 years of age and are planted on deep, iron-rich clay soils. Following a 15-day fermentation in concrete vats, the wine is aged in oak barrels for 10 to 12 months, with an approximate 20% new oak proportion. Deeper in color than the Pernand-Vergelesses, it offers aromas of citrus fruits and mint, a soft acidity, an oily texture, and remarkable concentration, concluding with a tannic finish in its youth.
