HERMITAGE ROUGE FARCONNET 100% Syrah. Named in honor of an older relative. The vines, aged 10 to 60 years, are cultivated across three distinct terroirs at the foot of the Hermitage hill: "Diognières," a stony clay soil that imparts spice; "Péleat," a clay soil rich in sand and limestone that brings delicacy; and "Greffieux," a rounded pebble terroir that contributes freshness. Featuring aromas of white pepper and a fruit-forward profile, it is vinified to be approachable earlier than the domaine's flagship bottlings, while retaining impressive complexity and concentration.
