VOLNAY Volnay 100% Pinot Noir. Covering approximately 43 hectares, the vineyard is situated in the 'Les Grands Poisots' parcel on the outskirts of Volnay, with vines averaging 60 years of age. The soil is rich in small gravel with a shallow layer of clay over limestone, and its favorable sun exposure allows for early ripening. Benefiting from its proximity to Pommard, it yields a wine with fine-grained tannins, abundant fruit, and rich minerality. Source: Finesse Co., Ltd.
