RIESLING SCHLOSSBERG (AC ALSACE GRAND CRU) 100% Riesling. The vineyards are situated in a premier, sun-drenched, south-facing location with granite, sandy, and quartz soils. Set on a mid-slope, the site offers excellent drainage, and cover crops of grass and flowers are planted to prevent soil erosion during heavy rainstorms. Due to the steep gradient, cultivation is carried out entirely by hand or with the assistance of horses. Fresher, richer in minerality, and more direct in profile than the Schoenenbourg mentioned above. (Source: Finesse Co., Ltd.)
