PUR SANG (VIN DE FRANCE) Pur Sang 100% Sauvignon Blanc. Sourced from a single parcel of clay-silex soil located five kilometers from the winery. The silex (flint) stones are small, allowing rainwater to penetrate easily and yielding delicate grapes from vines with an average age of 25 years. It displays pineapple-hued fruit flavors, a dry profile, abundant acidity, and a pronounced minerality culminating in a refined palate. In days gone by, the Sauvignon Blanc wines of this region were known as "Pur Sang," a traditional moniker that Didier chose to preserve in tribute to local history. (Source: Finesse Co., Ltd.)
