CORTON GRAND CRU LES PERRIÈRES Corton Grand Cru Les Perrières 100% Pinot Noir. A newer addition to the estate's portfolio, first released with the 2009 vintage. Covering 0.68 hectares with an east to southeast exposure, the vines are quite old, having been planted in 1953–54, which results in remarkably small, concentrated berries. True to its name, the vineyard is exceptionally stony, with stones accounting for roughly 50% of the soil composition, featuring an abundance of limestone and flint fragments. Spanning a gentle slope, it unfolds with aromas of ripe cherries, offering a generous yet muscular and linear palate with a tannic finish characteristic of classic Corton. It requires slightly more aging time than the aforementioned "Clos Rognet." (Source: Finesse Co., Ltd.)
