BOURGOGNE HAUTES-CÔTES DE NUITS CLOS SAINT-PHILIBERT (MONOPOLE) 95% Chardonnay, 5% Pinot Blanc. Located approximately 300 meters west of the Echézeaux parcel at an altitude of 380 meters, this roughly 3.5-hectare vineyard faces east to southeast on lean, pebble-strewn soils. Most of the vines were planted in the 1990s, allowing their roots to probe deep into the subsoil to absorb a myriad of complex elements. Both fermentation and aging take place in oak barrels, imparting a rich dimension to the fresh fruit flavors. Accented by comforting chestnut nuances, this wine is anchored by a vibrant, sharp acidity and generous fruit, culminating in a persistent, lingering finish. Document provided by Finesse Co., Ltd.
