A venerable domaine with winemaking roots stretching back to the Renaissance, centered around the village of Meursault. Since taking the reins in 1991, the current proprietor, Rémi Jobard, has fully transitioned the estate to organic farming, earning Ecocert certification in 2011. "En Lurvau" is a village-level parcel bordering the Premier Cru Les Gouttes d'Or. The wine is barrel-fermented and aged for 18 months in oak, with approximately 20% new oak. It unfolds with a complex, luminous bouquet of pear, orange peel, and white blossoms, layered with subtle hints of butter. The palate reveals ripe fruit anchored by energetic, precise acidity and a chalky salinity, culminating in a wonderfully persistent finish.
