GEVREY-CHAMBERTIN <VIEILLES VIGNES> Gevrey-Chambertin <Vieilles Vignes> 100% Pinot Noir. The vines are scattered across three parcels: 'Sylvie', 'Les Plattières', and 'Les Murots'. Planted between 1985 and 1986 across approximately 0.48 hectares, these entirely estate-owned plots feature gently sloping, clay-limestone soils dotted with scattered stones. As the sole wine in the lineup not designated as 'Vieilles Vignes', it presents fresh strawberry aromas, the pristine acidity characteristic of Pinot Noir, robust tannins, and a powerful, exceptionally persistent finish.
