NUITS-SAINT-GEORGES 1ER CRU LES PRULIERS 100% Pinot Noir. Spanning approximately 1.8 hectares on the Beaune side of Nuits-Saint-Georges, the parcel features stony, limestone-rich soils at higher altitudes that impart abundant minerality, while the lower sections contain a higher clay content that lends depth to the palate. The wine is an assemblage of 15-year-old younger vines and ancient vines up to 70 years old, combining freshness and minerality with wild, gamey fruit flavors and profound concentration. While sharing identical conditions of altitude and vine age with the domaine's monopole Premier Cru "Clos des Forêts Saint-Georges," the distinct influence of this terroir shapes an entirely different expression.
