BOURGOGNE EPINEUIL AVITA 100% Pinot Noir. "Avita" is derived from Latin, meaning "ancestral methods and style." Vinified in large 900-liter terracotta vessels known as "Terre Cuite," fired at 950°C, the intention is to allow gentle oxygen contact with the wine without imparting any oak influence. The grapes are sourced from Pinot Noir planted in the "Côte de Grisey" parcel. Vinification is carried out using two-thirds destemmed grapes and one-third whole clusters. It displays aromas of ripe red fruits, a supple texture accompanied by powerful fruit expression, spicy acidity, and refined tannins, culminating in an energetic and well-structured profile characteristic of the 2022 vintage.
