BOURGOGNE ALIGOTÉ SOUS-CHÂTELET 100% Aligoté. The domaine owns approximately 0.5 hectares of clay-limestone vineyards in the "Sous le Châtelet" parcel within the village of Auxey-Duresses, situated adjacent to the plots owned by Madame Lalou Bize-Leroy. Planted between 1937 and 1938, these old vines are pressed immediately after harvest to craft this classic style of Aligoté. It displays mellow lactic aromas, signature Aligoté acidity, and a distinct minerality, complemented by an oily, supple texture that makes it exceptionally approachable and delightful to drink.
